Faithful Companions
Their large mystical eyes,
For sure, to tell no lies.
Their long whiskers,
Stand straight out,
As they meow,
With no doubt.
Their pointed ears,
Move with sound,
As they run through the house,
Moving every pound,
To chase a mouse.
Their padded paws,
And long sharp claws,
Don’t make sound
When they walk around.
With their sleek, muscular bodies,
They sneak out of sight,
And rest for the night.
Only to wake the next morning,
And without any warning,
They cuddle very tight,
With all their might.
