Marantz 2325
This is definitely my favorite receiver that I have. The picture is not mine, but the same model. Mine is not in as good of shape but still sounds
and looks great. It has 125 watts per channel and sounds ohh so sweet. Whether it be the radio, a CD, or the TV/Movie, this thing sounds absolutely
amazing. Cannot comepete with anything in this house and probably anything in the neighborhood. Anybody that knows me hears about this thing a lot
and they probably think I am crazy. If they ever hear it do its thing, I bet they would think otherwise. This is the second vintage receiver I purchased.
When it arrived via UPS, one of the knobs was bent, the face was filthy, and it smelled like a tavern (cig smoke). I was dissapointed, but it got a thorough
cleaning the following weekend. It now sounds and looks beautiful.
Plans: Need to get back inside and check 2 non-working bulbs behind tuning dial (one for sure is just a bad connection). Also, FM light needs to be
replaced.

Pioneer SX2000
Right now, the old tube receiver is the computer system. Since I got new speakers for the Marantz, the Advents were available and I knew it would sound better than the AIWA shelf system I was using. Even though this thing is old and shows its age in many ways, it still sounds great. I can see stuff corroding and mild rust, but none of it seems to be anything to worry about. Makes you want to go out and get one, huh?
