Motorola GP300 Radio Information

One of the radios I own is the Motorola GP300. This is my favorite radio that I have owned. I bought it at a ham radio (a.k.a. swap) fest. It was used by a local fire dept. It was a 8 +2 or 8 channels and 2 scan banks or channels. I recently modified it for 16 channels. It is a VHF 146 MHz to 174 MHz. This can easily be tuned to 145 MHz to 174 MHz. All the mods will be explained on this site.
