Hiya, my name's Jen & I'm 19 years old. I've been 'living' with RSD for about 1 1/2 years. I am a student at Penn State University studying pre-med, where i am also an athlete. I am a member of the Penn State Division I National Championship Fencning Team, 4 years running. Not bad eh??!! This brings us to the RSD part... During a the second competition of my collegiate athletic career I developped RSD in the left arm, hand and shoulder included. I began treatment right away including various meds, nerve blocks, and an implanted epidural catheter complete with external pump for continuous flow of meds. not exactly my idea of a good ole' college party, but...I got my fair share of that sorta thing Spring Semester '98 when I finally returned to school and finished out the semester - YaY!! Very exciting :)
