Working Designs has announced that Lunar:SSSC for the Playstation is to become a collector's item, so those who haven't bought it better go out and grab it before places jack the price of it up.

Namco recently started it's own RPG division, which involves some of Squares old worker's. Rumors of a XG like game by this company have been around.

With the success of the anime series and the old handle held games of the early ninties, Bandi might bring their game "Digimon World RPG" over to the states. Think of it as a Monster Rancher like game with an RPG like storyline.

In horrid Halloween news, Square now has second thoughts on releasing their Chrono Trigger in the US. We urge you to send e-mail after e-mail to them to change their mind, so Nash can have the joy of playing it(he never had a SNES)

Dreamcast is doing surprisingly well, but as we said before for how long? We here the games look great but the varity and gameplay is pretty blah. Is Sega screwed again?

Nash is shocked that Tecmo is keeping Dead or Alive 2 as a Dreamcast only title(unless things change). He loved the first one on the PS.

Square has delayed a conference, which is bring up some worry in Japan, and at the Guild of course

This may seem like old news but sense I forgot to put it up I'll say it now. Final Fantasy Anthology comes on on the 12th. But instead of having 3 classic FFs like in Japan, it as 2 with a soundtrack CD

It seems rumors have been confirmed that a remake of Chrono Trigger for the PS is coming to the US

Squares first games for the PS2 are not RPGs, as said before, they are an action/fighting game called Bouncer, and a shooter.

Plans for the next Metal Gear game have been confirmed for the next Playstation.

There will be 12 games available for the Spring launch of the PS2 in Japan.

The Playstation 2 has been revealed. First of all it looks like the main part of a computer, it's black and can play old playstation games and DVDs, plus all the PS2 games coming. Though in what I think is a bad move, it still only has 2 controler ports, and uses a new version of the Dual Shock controler. It's set to release in March in Japan and in the Fall of 2000 here in the states. Games coming at the launch are Teken Tag Tournament, Gran Turismo 2000, Street Fighter EX3, 2 Square games(which aren't RPGs), and others.

Dreamcast has launched and is doing well, for now. It has sold more the Star Wars Episode 1 has even in presale, but sales will stop, stores around here are still stocked with all the DC stuff, and with Nintendo and Sony bringing way better systems out soon Sega has to get ready for another big fight.

Parasite Eve 2 has been confirmed for both US and Japan realeases. It will involve Aya but no other characters from the last game. Source= IGN.com
