Final Fantasy Heroes
The Final Fantasy series is simply the best when it comes to characters. Squaresoft as certainly perfected the art of making good world-saving groups. Hear are our imputs on the groups of heroes for FF4-8, and of course as more FF games come out we'll add them in.
Final Fantasy V
Final Fantasy 5 had 5 main heroes, pretty ironic huh. You only used them four at a time though, for a simple fact that just happens to be a spoiler. Well your group is lead by the traveller Bartz(Butz). Bartz has to be the most pointless lead character in the FF series. Mostly the only reason he's along is because he's the son of a former Warrior of Dawn. Bartz hardly has anything to do with the story but is added in here and there. Secondly there is Rena the princess. She is important to the story because she is out to find her father, and this leads to a few of the story's adventures. Galuf, the old man, really explains a lot of the story's with his past, so he's a nice addition to your group towards the middle of the game. Then there is Farris, the girl pirrate. Her involvment with Rena leads to more of the story's adventures. Krile comes in later, for a reason, which as I said before I can't say for the reason of spoilers. Thats your main group, but in FF5 there are also 2 important helpers, Cid and Mid, grandpa and grandson team. They provide the group with machines. We would say that FF5 is a very enjoyable game, and it was an expirience to play through, but the group of characters is weaker then some of Square's earlier and then later works.
