Final Fantasy Anthology
Mia's info:The FF Anthology contains FF5, FF6 (which was FF3 in the US), and a soundtrack, which will be songs from FF5 and FF6. I have only played FF6 on SNES, so that is going to be the only review up on the two games for a while, but I am playing FF5. Of course, I know I won't finish it before FF Anthology comes out. *sigh*

Nash's info: Ok, Since I got the game I'll take a shot at describing this first. The worlrd of FF5 is based on 4 crystals, the wind, water, fire, and earth crystals. The ppl ran the world with these crystals, but meteors started to fall, and each time one did, a crystal shattered. 4 individuals realize the danger, and are picked to go out and save them from a dangerouse force from another world.
Bartz
Description:Bartz travels the world with his Chocobo Boko. Bartz is the main character of the game(funny how you have to pick his name in the game, and have no clue on his real name unless you search through the manual). He meets the others at the Tycoon meteor site, and kinda has a crush on Reina. He doesn't know his past, and has vidid memories of his parents.
Reina
Description:Reina is the princess of Tycoon, and after her father disappeared with the shattering of the Wind crystal, she went to search for him. She joins Bartz on their mission so she can find her answers.
Galuf
Description:When the Tycoon meteor crashed, Galuf is found by the crash site with no memory except for his name. On their quest to save the crystals, the group meets a few ppl who reconize him. It seems Galuf is from another world, sent to protect the crystals from X-Death, who is trying to be freed by destroying the crystals of Bartz's world.
Faris
Description:Faris is the leader of a group of pirates sailing with the help of her(you think she's a he at first) sea monster Hydra, who meets a sad end. She is somehow related to Reina, but you'll have to find out how yourself.
Krile
Description:Granddaughter of Galuf, Krile is his only family link and he's her only family link. She's young but when Galuf gets in trouble she's always there.
Cid and Mid
Description-Cid was born in the Library of the Ancients, so he's a very smart scientist. He blames himself for the desruction of the Fire Crystal, from the cause of his inventions like the running fire ship. But with the help of his grandson Mid he makes many usful things to help Bartz and his group complete their quest.
X-Death
Description-One that stands for all that is evil, X-Deaht wants to bring the world back the way it was, as an evil one with the power of the Void. He basically is insane, thats why Galuf and his group of warriors sealed him up, but it didn't work and they Bartz group must defeat him to keep the two worlds safe and stable, and most importantly in existance.
Gilgamesh
Description-Four amred samurih genreal of X-Death, Gilgamesh is out for a good fight and victory. He had two differen't forms and when he fails X-Death he is banished to the N-Zone. He sees that X-Death isn't the guy he'd like to work for and if you're lucky in the end, you get to see his speech that shows that he wants to be a good guy.
Gil
Description-Gil is the old Sage of Galuf's world, but is sadly turned into a turtle. Even in his almost useless form he's still very helped and has knowledge on defeating X-Death.

Mia's Info:Final Fantasy VI, or III in America, was, of course, done by Squaresoft. It starts with Tera being mindcontrolled by the Empire, until she reaches an Esper, who frees her from it. The Espers are some sort of magical race from another dimension. Terra is unique, because she is the only person with magical powers without draining an Esper to get them. This is a very good game, even though I haven't played it for a while. (which is why this review may be slightly inaccurate in places. It shouldn't be that bad, though) Anyway, she eventually causes an Apocalypse, and then has to stop Kefka from destroying the world any more.
Characters
Terra Branford
"A mysterious young woman, controlled by the Empire, and born with the gift of magic...." Terra's special skill is the Morph command, which changes her to an esper and makes her magic stronger, you don't have this skill at the beginning of the game.
Locke Cole
"Treasure Hunter and trail-worn traveler, searching the world over for the relics of the past..." Locke's special skill is the Steal command.
Edgar Roni Figaro
"The young king of Figaro Castle, ally to the Empire, a master designer of machinery..." Edgar's special skill is the Tool command which lets him attack with tools/weapons you can buy.
Sabin Rene Figaro
"Edgar's twin brother, who traded the throne for his own freedom..." Sabin uses the Blitz skill, which is used by putting in special button combinations.
Shadow
"He owes allegiance to no one, and will do anything for money. He comes and goes like the wind..." Shadow used the throw command, which attacks enemies by throwing special items. His dog Interceptor can attack randomly during battle.
Celes Chere
"Product of genetic engineering, battle-hardened MagiTek Knight, with a spirit as pure as snow..." Celes uses the Runic spell, which absorbs magic spells.
Cyan Garamonde
"Faithful retainer of his family's liege, with the courage and strength of a hundred men..." Cyan uses the SwordTech, which are special sword attacks set in levels.
Gau
"Draped in monster hides, eyes shining with intelligence. A youth surviving against all odds..."
Gau uses the Leap/Rage attack, where he leaps onto an enemy in battle and dissappears until another battle where he has learned that enemey's attack. This only works in the Veldt area.
Setzer Gabbiani
"A blackjack-playing, world-traveling, casino-dwelling spirit..." Setzer of course uses a slot machine attack, make the slots to create an attack.
Mog
"Human-loving, fast-talking, street-smart, SLAM-dancing....Moogle...." Mog attacks with special dances that he learns from fighting on different land.
Strago Magus
"An elderly gentleman, pure of heart, and learned in the ways of monsters...." Strago uses blue magic, which is magic learned from monster attack. Learning it is called the Lore ability.
Relm Arrowny
"In her pictures she captures everything: forests, water, light...the very essence of life..." Relm uses the Sketch ability, which creates a monster that attacks your enemy once. She can also use the control command after you get the Mustache Relic.
Umaro
"Admirer of bone-carvings, as strong as a gigas, a yeti pal with muscle!" Umaro doesn't really have a skill, but you can widen his attack options with items or relics.
Gogo
"Shrouded in odd clothing...is this a man?...a woman?...or should we ask?" Gogo uses the mimic ability, it's pretty straight forward if you look at it's name.
