Forgetting about her question, she said, "Really?"
Yeah," answered Lance. "Being on the road all the time doesn't give me much chance to go to church. In fact, I haven't gone in about a month. Anyway, I'd really like to go with you."
"OK," Katie agreed, forcing herself not to grin too big.
"I wanna go talk to Justin, OK?" Amanda told JC.
"Are you two going out?" JC inquired.
"Yeah."
"Oh." JC didn't think it was a good idea, and he warned Justin about it, but he wasn't going to tell Amanda that. "I'll go talk to Chris and Rebekah's brother. What's his name again?"
"Tim." Amanda went off to find Justin, but she couldn't see him anywhere. "Geez, I was just with him. Where did he go?" she thought. Since Nick Carter was the last person Justin talked to, Amanda approached him. He was still with Howie. "Have any of you seen Justin?"
Howie and Nick made eye contact and smiled. "Yeah," Nick said, "he said he'd be waiting for you in the dugout."
Amanda grinned. No one else was in the dugout! She bolted out the door, down the hall, and out onto the field. Her Justin was lounging about in the Gumen dugout. Amanda walked down the couple steps and eased down onto the bench right next to Justin. Millions of girls would literally die to be in her place now. Justin wrapped his arm around Amanda's shoulders, and she dreamily leaned her head on his shoulder. "I've only known you for a couple hours, but it seems like I've known you my whole life," Justin murmured sweetly. Before Amanda could say anything, Justin twisted his neck, so he was looking into Amanda's eyes. He lifted her chin up and closed his lips over hers in a short kiss. Amanda sighed happily. Celebrities kiss better than any boyfriend she's ever had.
