"Why on earth did I tell her I'd go out with her?" Zac complained. "I mean, sure she's cute, but she's so obsessed with me." He bragged to his brothers about his new girlfriend Lucy. "She gets so annoying sometimes...." Later that day he walked over to Lucy's house. "Uh, hi Lucy." Zac said uncomfortably.
"Oh, hi Zaccy!" she squealed. "I'm so happy to see you." She giggled inanely.
"Um, Lucy, I kind of have to talk to you about something."
"Anything!"
"Well, I um, sort of....wanna, um...." He trailed off.
"Spit it out Zac!"
"Well, um, I don't think we should , um, go out anymore..." Slowly a sad tear fell from Lucy's eye.
"Now I don't have nobody" Zac thought to himself. "And I am all alone." Lucy started to cry at that moment and said 'goodbye.' Zac felt so alone and he walked slowly home, thinking how much he missed Lucy and he felt incredibly guilty. Hew kicked a little pebble all the way home. When he got home, he ran upstairs and flopped on his bed.
"Ike? Did I do the right thing?"
"Zac, I don't know, she wasn't my girlfriend."
The next day Zac was rollerblading in the park with his older brother, Taylor. He spun around to find Tay, but instead he found his Lucy, holding hands with Charlie Brown. He never felt more alone or betrayed in his life.
