In Memory of "JRS Ebony Socks" AQHA black stallion. Im very sad, JR was put down to rest on Feb. 23, 2011. Lay down, my friend, and close your eyes… when next you awake, you’ll look down from blue skies. Free from the pain, you will run in full stride, with friends from the past and through fields far and wide. Those feet that have carried me feel only pain and you can't gallop freely, despite how you try. The back I have mounted I will miss everyday… the horse shows, parades and trails that we traveled. But I take off your halter - it's time that you go. God as your master will take care of you every day in heaven I know. Then some day “JR” I’ll see you once more, as you greet me with nickers as you’ve done before. So know that I love you and with me you’ll be, in my heart everyday as I dream of you free. With a last hug and a kiss on your nose, it is time for you to gallop to heaven, but know my love for you is never-ending. You’re one “Special” horse. We love you “JR” and will never forget you.
