Different style poetry...but positive
Hello!! I love these Poems I wrote! They are 14 lines - 10 syllables each line like a sonnet and they have the proper rhyming pattern. But check out the first letter of each line going down!! That is where the title came from. In the back of my notebook I have eighteen 14 letter phrases waiting to be having a poem written with it!! So here we go. More poems by me.
Ripe For Harvest
Ready for the work that God has for me
It may be hard my I am near to Him
Promptings of the Spirit have pushed me on
Encouragement from others will help me
Forward I go and I do not look back
Open eyes wide so I can see my guide
Radiance is seen and it gives me peace
Heart is softened but is still gripped by God
Awesome work can be done through me for Him
Really can happen at any moment
Victory through prayer, care, joy, and passion
Earned by the release of burden and pain
So time has come for me to be ready
Take me Lord and me please use me Lord I pray
Accept My Prayer
Almighty Savior I call to You now
Calling out Your name to come be with me
Crying right now and needing some comfort
Every day I need this serenity
Peace to wash over my troubled stressed mind
The peace I’d feel throughout my body
Make me have ability to feel
You presence…Your touch…Oh help me to see
Praying a prayer is very hard for me
Really hard for me to voice my concerns
Accept what I can say in any way
You Lord please help me..I’m trying to learn!
Everything you have heard me say today
Risen Lord it’s a prayer I’ve learned to pray
Prayer To My Lord
Power of Yours is to set Your people free
Really Lord can you somehow do that now?
All I ask is that You would end this grief
You would end this pain and so much sorrow
Early in the morning I wake up with this pain
Races through my body and mind all day
Torture Lord, it feels like torture here
Only You can help me – please do I pray
My Lord I need You presence here right now
You Lord Jesus I beg You please come near
Love, peace, presence, joy, and all the rest please
Outcast all the feelings I hold in fear
Relieve me of all of this pain deep within
Dear Lord be near and wash away my sins
I Cry At The Cross
It is time for me to be near to You
Coming to the cross for that to take place
Reaching up my hands in sorrowful prayer
Yearning to receive love, mercy, grace
All I ask is that I receive it soon
The longer I wait the worse I will feel
Touch me Lord, cleanse me, mold me, make me new
Healing is happening…it is for real
Each prayer I pray is being heard by You
Cannon doubt like I have in the past
Really feeling like You do care for me
Of course I’ll pray to make that feeling last
So Lord be with me every night and day
Savior help me through these trials I pray
