Divine Deluge
The TRUTH Staff
That divine Deluge,
Every breathless transgressor.
Unattainable animal refuge,
Cast the die of a vengeful Father.
That moral liquidating Deluge,
Bloated infant corpse whither.
Mutable waters go rouge,
The mad Father turn not hither.
But a tiny ship was cast out,
Harboring twice of each Kind.
This craft was to drift about,
Carrying the ancestors of Mankind.
The joyous Ark now a burden,
Heavy from waste of a million beings.
No help, no advice, no support given,
Hapless prisoners, no hope of fleeing.
After what seemed an eternity,
Finally a small peak divulged.
Mt. Ararat was their home, not too cozy,
Had to wait, for the flat Earth drained.
Alas, He made a great promise,
To not obliterate all life.
But He was so pompous,
The Two Cities destroyed in strife.
