LIST OF BOOKS RELATED TO THE "PISO THEORY"
(Including those for use as study aids)
=========================================
If you know of any other books that mention the Roman Piso family
please let us know so that we can list them!

"The True Authorship of the New Testament", by Abelard Reuchlin.
Available from: The Abelard Reuchlin Foundation, P.O. Box 5652, Kent,
WA 98064 (Cost: $5.00) It is copyright 1986 and is very scholarly and
condensed. It is a paperback booklet of 28+ pages.

"Christus Und Die Caesaren", by Bruno Bauer. Bauer was a Professor,
Theologian and Historical Scholar. He wrote many books, but the one that
really details the Romans (and more specifically Flavius Josephus) as the
authors of the New Testament is this one ("Christ and the Caesars"). It was
published in Berlin, Germany in 1877. It has remained available only in the
original German language until 1999. It is a huge work of 387 pages! The
English translation can be obtained from:
Alexander Davidonis, James Island, P.O. Box 12814, 732 Gin House Court,
Charleston,SC 29412

"The Origin of Christianity - 2000". This is a compilation of The Roman Piso
Homepage (Copyright 2000), and is published by Family Research Center,
POB 103, Altoona, WI 54720-0103. It details how and why the Roman Piso
family authored the New Testament. It was written to be easier for the average
person to read and comprehend. It may be considered a 'sister' book to "The
True Authorship of the New Testament."

"The Mania of Religion", by Dr. W.F. Dean. Dr. Dean was a member of 'The
Jesus Seminar'. This work of his is a massive 335 pages. Copyright 1995, this
work is available through Vantage Press, Inc., 516 West 34th Street, New York,
NY 10001. There are several pages mentioning the Roman Piso family, but the
book concentrates upon the issue of religion in general, primarily Christianity
and its origins.

"The Official Piso Theory Guidebook", a compilation of The Roman Piso
Homepage. It is copyright 2000. This book details the various aspects of the
premise that the Roman Piso family were the authors of the New Testament.
Contains much information that has been overlooked or not considered by
classical scholarship, presenting a whole new theory and point of view. A fresh
approach to the apparent 'conventional wisdom'. This theory explains a lot.
Available from: Family Research Center, POB 103, Altoona, WI 54720-0103

"The New Classical Scholarship". This is a compilation of The Roman Piso
Homepage. It is copyright 2000. Explains and outlines the need for an entirely
different approach to the study of classical history and biblical scholarship. It
shows the shortcomings and failures of what has gone by the name of 'scholar-
ship' for too long. Very authorative. It also presents new methods that have not
been used previously. Demonstrates the need to suspend 'belief' in order to be
objective and critical of texts.
Available from: Family Research Center, POB 103, Altoona, WI 54720-0103.

"Gospel Fictions", by Professor Randel Helms. Copyright 1988. This book gives a lot
of information on things relating to the Piso Theory, though Helms does not say anything
at all in the book about the Pisos. Our speculation is that Helms arrived at the conclusions
that he did independant of any knowledge about the Roman Piso family. Apparently, he
did not know this and that is reflected in his book. Though he was well aware of quite a
few things, he had no idea what they actually related to. This is great evidence that the
information/evidence arrived at in the Piso Theory is indeed valid, and much of which is
already considered or known and/or accepted by conventional scholars (The Old Classical
Scholarship). The difference is in knowing what it relates to. This book was published by:
Promethius Books, 700 East Amherst Street, Buffalo, NY 14215

"Jewish Expressions on Jesus: An Anthology". This is a compiled work with contributing
authors' articles throughout. This book gives the person who does not read Hebrew or
Aramaic the chance to see how the Talmud has recorded 'Jesus' and those related to him
and Christianity. There is a good deal of evidence presented here that the Jews not only
were witnesses to the creation of Christianity, but that they knew who the authors of the NT
were and were telling about (recording) those things in their works. They even wrote 'jokes'
of their own in the Talmud to answer the Pisos. By Trude Weiss-Rosmarin, KTAV Publishing
House, Inc., New York. Copyright 1977.

"The Complete Works of Flavius Josephus", Translated by William Whiston. This has
been seen on a site on the Internet, but we are uncertain if it is legal to copy from that site. And
even if it is, it would take too long to download. It is a huge 775 pages! Though this book is not
as accurate an translation as the Loeb editions and does not give the Greek also as the Loeb
does, we do recommend that persons who cannot afford to buy or who cannot find the Loeb
editions of Josephus at their local college or university purchase this book. It will give you what
you need in order to familiarize yourself with many, many things of that period and earlier. The
copy that we seen was copyright 1981. Published by Kregel Publications, Grand Rapids, MI
49501.

"Barnes & Noble College Outline Series: "The Bible as Literature - The New Testament",
by Professor Buckner B. Trawick. Copyright 1968, by Barnes & Noble, Inc. This shows a few
of the literary 'puns' (jokes) that are in the New Testament as well as other aspects of critical
examination (anacronisms, etc.). This may be available through colleges or universities, or
through Barnes & Noble bookstores.

"The Interlinear Greek-English New Testament", translated by George Ricker Berry. The
inside cover states that "All Rights Reserved", but gives no copyright date. It is published by
Zondervan Publishing House, 1415 Lake Drive, S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49506 This book is
invaluable for seeing the exact and most original words and meanings in the New Testament.
