The rain was falling late last night,
I should have been inside.
Instead I stood outside my house,
Where I softly cried.
I thought of all the bad things,
That happen in my life.
I figured i would not be missed,
So I went to get a knife.
I held a knife up to my wrist,
And pressed it down quite strongly.
I thought about my life once more,
Realizing I was doing wrongly.
I thought of all the love we share.
And pulled the knife away.
I pictured you down on your knees,
Begging me to stay.
It's almost like you saved my life,
Just by being there.
Without you I would be alone,
No one else would care.
Not so depressed, I turned around,
To walk back to the door.
You truly are my life saver,
For that I love you even more.
