Born March 21, 1958, Gary Oldman is one of the greatest actors of all times. "Darwin's Grab Bag" is one way to describe his versatility. He is one of the few who don't just play a character, but become that character. GO has a wide variety of accents to choose from, and his talent is undeniable. His recent directorial debut, Nil By Mouth, is just partial evidence of this. It was a beautiful film that shows a world of reality that is hardly recognized these days.
Off-stage and screen, Gary Oldman has also been involved with music. He can be heard on Reeves Gabrels' "The Sacred Squall of Now" and Julian Schnabel's "Every Silver Lining Has a Cloud".
