Weapons and Technology of the Drip Chronicles

The technology of the Drip Chronicles can be divided into these main parts:

Weapons:
Drip Laser: Bob uses a standard dripocian laser pistol which he discovered on an asteroid planet. In keeping with the ancient drip philosophy of absorbing energy from nothing (they eat by absorbing neutrons through their skin) the drip gun absorbs and condenses all electricity and energy around it and stores it in a battery within the gun's handle. When a drip send the signal through his/her skin, the weapon releases a ray of the energy. Many weapons in the Dripird sector use a technology similar to this (the Plunk gun, for example, uses an improved design but is more powerful). It is not as powerful as more modern Andytopian weapons, but it is usually all that Bob needs to stun or kill an enemy, or blast through a wall.

Ook Freeze Ray: The mechanical minions of the Evil Wiesner (ooks) are equipped with a freezing weapon on each side. They harness the Zorbolite power-cells of the Ooks themselves and create a negative power flux and incorporate it with some of the Ook's supply of liquid nitrogen, creating a freezing cold spout of ice. The nozzles from which the freeze ray comes out of is made of Slamoleum, a mineral common on planets such as Factor-E and Stantitch. The nozzles can be set to encompass large areas of to shoot out a single condensed shot.

Theo's Shrink Ray: Theo (Bob's evil deformed brother) stupidly built this unique weapon to kill Bob, rather than just shooting him. This shrink-ray simply condenses the matter of an atom, leaving less space between the particles. It works well on species like drips and simple robots. It has a particle lock built into it so that the target cnnot move out of the way. This proved useful when he was fighting Wiesner, as the lock prevented Wiesner from "zapping" away. Unfortunately, the shrinking does not work on more complex species, such as Humans, complex robots, The Evil Wiesner, and other various species.

Bean Sabers: Bean sabers are a style of weapon that is, well, wierd and smelly. By concentrating gasses into a stream of plasma and sucking it back in around itself, it makes a near-solid beam of fire. They can cut through most unshielded metals but produce a horrible stench as a result of concentrating the gasses. Bob, Jack, and Theo each had access to Bean Sabers in "Star Farts".

Wimp Super-suit: Despite the impression given by the first syllable in its name, the wimp super-suit is actually a powerful and useful weapon/vehicle. built by the species "Wimp", they are made to hold one wimp sized creature who drives the semi-humanoid thing. It has two long legs and a rear propellor for locomotion, and sports a magnetic discharge cannon on one "arm" and a grasping pincer on the other. Due to the propellor on its back, the super-suit can be used on land or in the water. Bob drove a wimp supersuit while negotiating between the wimps and plunks on the planet Molasses (Issue #16).
Devices:
Dimensional Lock: The Dimensional lock is a massive space station that could have gone under starships, but due to it's functionality, it is labeled as a device. There is only one dimensional lock in range of the Dripird sector. They were created to hold in place the smaller Particle locks which would close black holes. It also had the side affect of disrupting teleporters, thus making the Evil Wiesner unable to use his natural teleporting abilities.

Rocket Shoes: Fitted into a tight glove around Bob's feet, Bob's Rocket Shoes have gotten him out of many nasty situations. His first pair used standard rocket-shoe fuel cartridges, condensed and highly flammable gasses within a box-shaped dispenser. His second pair included an expensive teleporter which would teleport fuel into it from a distant stronghold. After the Dimensional Lock was built, however, he was back to storing fuel cells again.

Starships:
The Lava Lamp Space Station: In other areas of the universe, these stations are called Tri-Cone stations. They usually stay at one designated area but can move freely from place to place, whether to create a new outpost or to defend a planet. They are armed with four pulse beam batteries. Unlike starships made in the Dripird sector, the Tri-Cone stations get both their power and propulsion from huge fuel cells. Although most of these space stations are for military use, some have been turned into large recreation areas, such as the Dripird sector's Disco World. One Tri-Cone station was taken over by the union but was recovered thanks to Bob and his friends.

Drip Ship: Used by Bob almost exclusively for his missions. Drip ships vary very little from style to style. They have a magnetic power generator a rocket-type engine, and a trusty life support system. Some models include features like an exterior magnetic pulse cannon, a cellular phone, or an extra large cup-holder. Some models include seats while others don't. Some comfortably seat multiple crew members while others have barely enough room for one. The hulls are always made out of a patented material made to imitate drip skin (coincidentally labeled 'dripflesh') to make crashes easier on the passengers, due to the fact that most drips are bad pilots.

WarYawl: An Andytopian heavy starship, Waryawls are the backbone of the Andytopian navy. They are not as powerful as newer and bigger vessels, like the Grapnel Battlewagon or the massive War Stoppers, but they are in high supply and are still tough to beat. The dripird sector has only a few Waryawls at its Andytopian capital planet, Mangoxan, although additional forces were sent to the dripird sector in Issue #19, where Andytopia sent a large force to the sector in order to crush the Union of badguys.
