Let us begin by simply stating that Demonology (the study of inhuman / demonic spirits) is a deadly serious business. Just as importantly, the word demonology (used properly) has nothing to do with devil worship or black magic. Still, I speak from experience when I say it is nothing to be trifled with or taken lightly. One who decides to dabble in the occult or veiws the demonic as an interesting toy should consider the terrible spiritual and yes physical danger involved.
My interest in Demonology is mainly academic, but I have had some first hand experience (that I do not care to repeat!) Anyone who has encountered the demonic will tell you that it is not a pleasant experience. Most people who encounter it do not come away without some form of harm done to them. In most cases this seems to be psychological, but in many cases it is physical. In some cases, it can be fatal.
Thus, one of my goals in establishing this site is to satisfy peoples' natural curiosity on the subject, while at the same time educating them on the very real dangers that await those who (by accident or design) encounter the demonic. Many people become opressed by the demonic by accident or foolishness. However, many people, who practice satanic rituals, sorcery, witchcraft, or black magik do so intentionally. These people are not only a menace to themselves, but to everyone they come in contact with.
I am not a proffesional demonologist. In reality, there are very few people in the world who could claim that title. My goal for this web site is to inform only. The demonic is a very real, very dangerous, and very neglected area of knowledge that people should be aware of.
Everything on this site is based on secondary research I have conducted. the information is quite elementary, but should provide a good place to start. Further information is available from at the links section and the book section of this site.
