Hat's Off
This was an appreciation party
that was put on for our Pastor's Wife
in Mansfield Ohio. It was
"Hat's off to Mrs. Fielder"
We asked the ladies to wear hats. We were planning on a fashion show skit showing all the different hats our pastor's wife wore (wife, mother, secretary, etc.) but it turned into a table with mini hats "decorated" with things to show the many areas of her life. The center pieces for the tables were plain craft hats with some added flowers.
For each place setting we had a hat pin each lady could take home. (sorry for the fuzzy picture)
We had a simple dinner of soups and such. We had a beautiful hat cake for dessert.
I am working on getting the game for you. We wrote riddles describing an occupation or person that wore a specific hat and the ladies had to guess who or what occupation.
