Too Many Peas in My Pod!!

(Updated October 14, 2003)

Um, no new pics just made it more readable!

Pals, Gals, and Friends!!

ALL RIGHT!! As you know by now, I've just recently graduated and I'm currently back in MD. So that means I, once again, have access to a scanner. You know, it's sad Kenn is the last of us at Northland(sorry hon),and when he leaves it's goodbye to the traditions. Who else will remember the extra special meanings the words "trailers" and "spoon", the names "Orafice" "the Railyard" and "the Fifth" and the songs/cheers "Here's to the People" and "American Pie" hold??!! Well, at least when we see each other again there'll be some things to reminisce, revive, revisit! So check out the recent photos!!

Junior Year

Tickle Me Eric

Now here's an unforgettable person. The senchal of Northland's shire of the SCA(Darkstone) Eric and his minions have forever been heckling me. Ever since I joined SCA, and continued being on and off my fresh and soph years, and he esp. found out I'm EXTREMELY ticklish, he has made it his vow to eternally torment me, and my ribs!! Man, I'll miss him!!

My fellow hedgepig

This is Happy(no silly, that's just her nickname) and she's my big sister on campus. We just started hanging out Winter Semester but we automatically clicked!!! She is such a wonderful gal. From plays, to dancing, to truth or dare, Cabin Jams, and boyfriends we've been through a lot together in just 6 months. I just can't believe she's gone and graduated on me. Why hedgepigs, you asked? Let's just say this years Cabin Jam(I will have pics of this soon)brought a whole lot of inside jokes dealing with that animal.

My boys

These two boys are as crazy as they come. Karen is from Armenia and he's one of the smartest people I know. He's also one of the most caring, and at the same time, most wackiest. Speaking of wacky, Mike is from NYC and he's best known as my 30-yr-old pervert for a son...Don't ask!

Family and Best Pals

My Buddies!! These were my closest friends since my freshman year. I'm still friends with most of them. Shan's still my Best Bud!

Mom and Dad Aren't they cute? Now you know where I get my good looks from...:P

Christmas with the family:99

Yup this is pretty much everyone on my mom's side! Some people left early, however. And, of course, my grandmother is missing cuz she is sick, but she was with us in heart!!

Da Poop Troop

Here's me with my best friend Kim, and her boyfriend Ritchie. They've been together for a long time and they're still like a couple of kiddies in love. He even wrote a song for her...Aw...how sweet..blech J/K

My Nate

Now, if Shan is my best gal friend at Northland, Nate's definitely one of my best guy friends. We've taken a photo for every Play Day that we've been friends. Freshman to our Senior year baby!!

Senior Year, 1st Semester

Freshfriends Here are some of my newest coolest pals! I've only known them a semester and we're already so close! It's Abe, Barbara and Monica(with me of course)!

United Cultures At Northland

This is the club that I've presided over for almost three years. Veteran club members will agree,it's been one hell of a rollercoaster ride!!

Halloween 1999

Are we not the coolest bunch of fresks, or what? I won 2nd price for that costume...I'm an angel, honest!!

Pinhead

...and here's the 1st place winner...Aaron Nelson! Scary, isn't he?

Best of Lushes...I meant friends

Shan and Ned...what a duo. If you wanted to know the dirt on me, they'd be your best bet! I don't think there's anything we don't know about each other(and if its bad enough, the teasing never ends)

NED...damn...nuff said!! We've been through it all. Like a couple that had gone out, broken up, gotten back together, gotten married, gotten divorced and are now the best of pals!

New Years Eve 99, 1st Night Annapolis

My Brothas!! New Year's at Annapolis was something else. I took my brother Chris, and his best bud Nathaniel(my psuedo-bro). To be honest, it was the best night I'd had all winter break! It was a completely crazy night...and even crazier...I was SOBER!! Imagine that!

Kimmy Blahoot!!

Now I know they say there's no such thing as best friends who never fight. Well, strangely enough that seems to be our case. We are about as opposite as they come in every way possible yet, we've actually never gotten into any fights since we've known each other(my 7th Grade). So who else would I wanna spend my New Year's Eve with?!

Senior Year, My Final Semesters

Midsession Three girls, three days, Chicago...what does that add up to? TROUBLE!! No, not really, we were pretty good. If only I didn't have to rush back for play practice. It was fun hanging out with these gal pals. Un problemo, neither of them were twenty-one. Meaning: not much of a night life for the Bean. HOWEVER, we still found ways to amuse ourselves:)

The Day the Rail yard Died April Fools, a day of joking and teasing. This year it was the day for our Senior Party. Sadly, at about 9am, who knew it was also going to be one of the most tragic days in Ashland(and Northland)'s history. The Railyard Pub, an old railroad station that was changed to hold restaurant, offices and brewery(and a popular place for all Northlanders to hang out, burnt down. People speak of rebuilding but how can you replace an original? or the memories it held?

BDAY #22!! You know, while nothing can compare to my 21st Birthday, my 22nd came close. Held at my friend Misty's, my birthday party gave way to many unusual events. First the people. Friends from all different groups that have never really hung out came together during this event, bringing food to the potluck, gifts of strange sorts, and drinking incredible amounts of...mixed drinks(ahem). While it wasn't planned it quickly became my second co-joined party with Ned which made it so much better!!

SPRING BREAK The three photos above were taken during my Spring Break trip with Shan. It was so much fun. From the unique Greyhound experiences, to the events that occurred in New York and in Maryland!

Movie Nights Since a lot of my new pals were underage, movie nights became a popular event this year, moreso during the Spring. It usually consists of myself, Kenn(on top bunk), Liz(on bottom), Joe(holding cup of Ramen), Shayn(with camera)(and occasionally anyone else who stops in), two movies, drinks and food, and lots of distractions! Location? Usually mine(if Kenn brings the tv), or Kenn's, or Joe's depending on the situation.

Goodbye UCAN Here's the last pic of UCAN members remaining til the end of the year. Barbara(other short girl in white tank) is next year's Pres. Good Luck Barbara(she'll need it)!

Joe As promised, here's the crazy goober himself, Joe Gorski. This is one unique man and he's been one of my closest friends. He had to be in order to put up with a year of my bs, senioritis, and operatic moments. Even though we've only met this year(and my last year, go figure) he was always there to cheer me up with his craziness(most of time he ended up just weirded me out), to talk about anything ( I must have drained him with my thesis woes), and to let me vent when I was ready to go postal(he was my punching bag...WOO HOO, someone who doesn't fight back...thank God). I hope I was able to return the favor. And like he said it's not goodbye. I'm sure we'll keep in touch...okay I'm done with the sappiness!!!

Nate and Caleb The first of my grad pics. Here I am with Nate and his twin Caleb. These guys are the greatest! Caleb even brought his friend James who I haven't seen since freshman year. I tell you grad week was like freshman flashback with all the people who had come up!

Friends 4-ever? Those who know me know that I do better being friends with guys than girls. HOWEVER there have been some exceptions and these gals are prime examples. Even though time has distanced us a bit, I know that we all are still friends and can depend on each other during key moments in our lives(like Graduation)! Picture here(l to r) Karen, Kathryn, Me:), Erin, and Shan.

Dance for ME! Until recently, my weekend rituals since I'd turned 21 were as follows: Friday-go to parties til they get busted, then the Orafice(actually called the Office Bar) and/or Fifth Quarter(or vice versa) til close then Country Kitchen or home. Saturday-the same, or movie night(which, recently, had replaced the events for both nights...usually). Sunday-Fifth with Ned and the guys. The Orafice was usually a girl thing, and these were the girls I usually hung out with...some crazy times a tell ya! Picture here(w/me): Julia, Kirsten, Kate, Jodie(front), and Erin.

The rest of my boyas Speaking of crazy, here are the boys that make my life a living hell!! J/K I really love these boys! Along with Karl and Tyler, these are my 5th Quarter cult members(Bradley, the owner, is the leader)! Pictured here: Scott, Dave, Ned, and Kenn.

5th quarter 101 Everything we needed to learn about life we discovered at Northland, but most importantly, we learned hanging out in the 5th! Here's the whole gang spending our last night together(sniff sniff). I don't think there will ever be a group so close and unique as the 5th Quarter cult. Who will ever forget Bradley, the bartenders, Jeremy, prairie fires, American Pie, and the 5th Quarter Tabernacle Choir(of which I'm proud to say I'm the only female member...YES!) Pictured here: Marty(Ned's sister behind...), Dave, Kenn with me and Ned(the perverse triangle...heh heh), Gramps(two-year grad, Jodie, Kate and Shan(not really part of the cult but added to that night's festivities), and in front Julia, Kirsten and Scott.

Well folks, that's all I have for now! Next Time I will provide you with Pics of Summer...AND O2k baby!!

Check out the Nature Camp crew!
Come back to me!!!
