Do you happen to have an experience of giving birth overseas or raising your children in another country? Then we would like to hear your experience. 

At Care the World, we help those who are planning to move overseas by providing information and first hand information about raising your child in a foreign country. Families who are planning to move to a foreign country have no idea what it is like to live there with small children and your actual experience in raising children in a foreign country helps them a lot. So you can help them by sending in your story. They would love to hear from you.  Remember how frightening it was for you when you were planning the move with your small children? The new families want to know and your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Birth

Prenatal care : How did you go about in finding an obstetrician or a midwife? What was check ups like?  How was life during pregnancy different from home? What kind of birth plans did you make? Was there any items you brought from home?

Birth: How was your delivery? How was your hospital stay like? How did they handle the baby? How long was your hospital stay? What was the cost of delivery?

Afterbirth: How did you register the birth? What kind of help did you get after you went home? How was the follow-up by the medical experts? Any rituals or customs related to birth or afterbirth?

Childcare

Before the departure: What do you recommend to take from your country?

Medical: What do you need to be aware of in terms of preventing disease and illness? What were some treatments of the country?

Childcare: How was raising children or discipline different from your home country? How was the preschool of the country? What was the baby-sitting situation like? How easy or difficult was it to go out with babies? What did you like about raising children in that country?
