Classic Atco vinyl, with centerpiece of original two acetate pre-production discs that were retrieved after many years in collectible storage, auctioned
internationally, and with great generosity, gifted into the Well All Right ~ Blind Faith collection. Note that also portrayed is a rare original first pressing
promo release of the vinyl of the album, designated with a white label and pristine unused condition. At the far left is a pristine, sealed in cellophane, the
alternate group photo version cover of the album.

Photo of a set of the original acetates used to master the Blind Faith album on the Atlantic/Atco record label. The A Side designated as "ST-C-691661",
and B Side designated as "ST-C-691662". Acetate pressings are made of a base metal plate, then coated with an acetate emulsion that can be cut into when
transposing the grooves of the album music signal to exacting standards of accuracy.

Close-up of original acetate used to master the Blind Faith album on the Atlantic/Atco record label. Note that this acetate
disc was made by the Columbia Recording Studios, presumably under contract by Atlantic/Atco to prepare the master
recording plates for pressing the first generation vinyl that was released in the USA during early August 1969. Needless
to say, that this acetate, one of only a few created for this album, is a rarity, now in the possession of a collector who
generously offers to share a glimpse of these treasures with the faithful.

Extra detail close-up of the BF album B Side acetate, "Atlantic 7/15/69". Note that this is a Columbia Recording Studio
acetate master disc. We'll have some interesting words speculating how Columbia Recording Studio was designated as the
intermediary that prepared acetates and master pressing plates for Atlantic Records; competitors as record labels, yet likely
collaborators in album vinyl pressing preparations. Only Ahmet Ertegün and Jerry Wexler, perhaps Tom Dowd, knew for
sure what the deal was about (they're all gone now, so paper documents and second person street talking are probably the
only references to follow, in an historical sense). Very curious, indeed.....
