Spells
First I
thought I would put some spells of protection. I will have put
what each spell is best used for and if you haven't done spellworking
before I recommend you not change them.
Witches
Bottles
These spells
I have gotten from the Book Embracing the Moon by Yasmine
Galenorn(thanks for the inspiration!)A Witches Bottle with a
narrow, long neck, into which
magickally charged objects are placed. Generally used to trap
negative energy, they act as an active encouragement of attacks.
Thread
bottle
Good for
confusing theives or burglers so they won't get into your house.
needed: 1 long-necked clear bottle and some thread leavings, none
longer than two inches.
Fill the
bottle with thread pieces over time. Do not purposly cut them to
put in the bottle, but pieces left over from sewing or something.
When the bottle is full, raise energy and charge the bottle, then
place it in a window.
Sand Trap
Bottle
Good for
keeping negative people from coming into your home.
needed: 1 long-necked bottle, clean dry sand and some splinters
of rowan or oak
Raise energy and charge the sand with intent to protect and to suck
down negative energy. Raise anergy and charge the splinters with
the intent that they defend against intruders.
Carefully fill the jar 1/3 full of sand and 1/3 full of splinters. So now it should be 2/3
full. After you put in the splinters, pour some more charged sand
in the jar and cap it tightly.
say:
Into the
sand, may it suck you down
If ever you should intrude my house
Defend against foes, splinters of wood
But to my friends bring only good.
Set the jar in a corner near the door.
Home
Protection Spell Bottle
This
spell is from the Book "Spell Crafts" by Scott
Cunningham and David Harrington.
They say that this spell should be walled up in a new home under
construction or placed under the floor boards. If this is
immpossible place it in a place of importance somewhere in your
home.
Needed: 1
bottle with cork stopper, 1/2 to 1 cup of salt, 3 cloves of
garlic, 9 bay leaves, 7tbs. dried basil, 4 tbs. dill seeds, 1
tbs. sage, 1 tbs. anise, 1 tbs. black pepper, 1 tbs. fennel, and
1 bowl.
In the
morning, idealy on a bright and sunny day, bring together all of
the items. Place the salt in the bowl and say:
"Salt that protects, protect my home and all within
it."
Add the rest of the ingredients, one by one, saying the above
phrase. Just change the first word to whatever herb you are
putting next.
Mix together
the herbs with the salt with your hands and fingers, lead energy
to the potent protective items. Visualize your home as a shining,
safe, guarded, secure place of santuary.
Pour the mixture into the jar. Seal tightly and place into your
home with the following words,
"Salt
and herbs, nine times nine
Guard now this home of mine."
Pet
Prtotection Spell
This spell I
have also gotten from Yasmine Galenorn's book. It is also very
important to remember your pets. This spell will help keep them
safe.
For each animal you will need: 1 six inch piece of square black
felt, fabric paints and brush,
a clipping of hair or stray feathers from your pet, 2 teaspoons
of dried cedar, 1 bay leaf, 2 teaspoons of catnip(even if you
have a dog), 1 teaspoon of comfrey, 1/4 teaspoon of dried garlic,1 teaspoon
of heather, Protection or guardian oil, cotton and a thread and
needle.
Fold the piece of black felt in half and sew two sides of it,
leaving one side open. On one side of the little bag, paint your
pets name and the runes: Algiz, Koad; the Forest Rune; the Pentacle and the
Goddess Rune. Let it dry.
Raise energy on the herbs to empower them and then pour them into
the pouch. Add the clipping of pet hair or the feathers and then
stuff the rest with cotton to which you have added a few drops of the
Protection or guardian oil. Sew the remaining side of the pouch
closed. Cast a circle, invoke the elements and the Lord and Lady.
Say:
"O
Gracious Lord and Lady, Protector of all creatures who walk upon
this Earth. Guard my (pet species and name) against harm and
illness. Watch over him/her with every step he/she takes. Help me
protect protect him/her and strengthen the connection of love
between us. Let this charm be blessed, to hold the energy of
protection. Blessed be."
Keep the bag
in a safe place, perhaps on your alter where the animal can't get
to it. renew this charm every six months. Remember a spell is
good to back up the protection you are already giving them, like
keeping up with their vacinations, giving them plenty of food,
water, and love.
