Snowflakes of repentance
Burning in their shame,
They in
falter
the
falling
Into the ground from
whence they came.
Casting silence on the air,
Nature's anarchy to flame,
Born of her apology,
Atrocities beyond all blame.
Pirouettes of dying ice
In arbitrary destiny,
In fairy calm they brush the night
In dancing lights of revelry.
Cruel shards of recollection,
Tiny stars of agony,
Bittersweet nostalgia,
Frozen in this memory.
Crystals of indignity
Suffered by the sky,
Eloquent apostasy
Precipitating alibi.
Plunging accusations
That these prisms dare defy,
Kaleidoscopic emptiness,
They
ever
earthward
fly.
Lullaby profanity
In plumes of ambiguity,
Descension into history
Toppling in harmony.
