Uncle Anus Live At Grosh's, With Guyz Wit' Skillz, and Friction Point
Incredible fucking night. Guyz Wit' Skillz started the night off. M.C. Oatbran was wearing a gangsta hat and a bigassed chain, and M.C.Y.T. was downing a 40. They played 'We be 2 White Rappers From Da Suburbs', 'Shake Your Rump', 'The Sound Of Science', and 'So Whatcha Want?'. On the last tune Mr. Anal Abuse and Feedog sat in. The next band was Friction Point. I missed the begining of there set, but the part I did see was bad assed. If you ever have an oppurtunity to see them, check that shit out. Then Uncle Anus played. Mr. Verbal Abuse did the begining of 'Nothing Compares 2 U' outside of the basement. The next song they did was 'The Song About Birds', with Introduce Yourself by Faith No More. Then they ripped through Defecation Prt. 1. Mr. Verbal still hadnt talked to the audience. Then he told the people that certain songs had a theme, and they should try to guess the theme. The first of the songs with a theme was Welcome Back Kotter. I dont exactly remember the setlist. The other songs with the theme were, My Sharona, Sympathy For The Devil, I started A Joke, Welcome Back Kotter, and Welcome Back Kotter. They played all the classic UA songs. Ted Kazinski is the UniBomber(and my unifriend), J.F.C.O.A.B., The Captain Anarchy Theme Song, The Dance Medely, and Buy Our Tape. Sympathy For the Devil was really cool, a lot of open jamming going down. They played the spice girls song, and ninja mosh. They ended with What A Wonderfull World by Louis Armstrong. It was the most beautiful thing ive ever heard. They came back for an encore, and played Glory Box by Portishead, and then ripped the shit out of smells like uncle anus. The whole show is on tape, and probably gonna be released. Really good shit.
