"I know that I have my own style and that I am a different kind of champion. My biggest natural talent isn't my skating or even my jumps. The gift that God gave me was drive. My drive for skating and for knowledge of myself is intense. I believe that you don't always need a gold medal around your neck to be successful. Success is more a measure of who you are; it's being yourself and recognizing your individuality. It is also being able to interact with people and to be with people you love and who love you in return."
