An asthma hound Chihuahua with donkey-like ears, his sociopathic behavior earns him the roles of both aggressor and child (often with Stimpy there to take care of him.) Between his get-rich-quick schemes and a yearning for large pectoral muscles, he enjoys such activities as:
-a collection of used celebrity underwear
-being tormented by the tooth-root beaver
-whizzing on electric fences
He also possesses a great fear of the dentist and shares the love of his favorite cereal, Powdered Toast, with Stimpy.
In his relationship with Stimpy, he is often verbally and physically abusive, but he also does demonstrate a great deal of affection for his best friend
But Ren is a blast to watch. Why? Well, it's tough to say. Maybe it's got something to do with seeing a cartoon character stretch the capacity for being a jerk as much as he can stretch his own body. Maybe it's the matter of knowing that he can fly off the handle at any time. Maybe it's because we're glad we're not him.
Do we like Ren? Sure we do. He's a fun guy to visit. We just wouldn't want to live with him
