From the mouth of Justin Timberlake: "People may feel like, 'I can only give one dollar to this charity, so it's not really worth it.' But really, it is. Because if a million people give a dollar, the next thing you know, you've got a million dollars!"
From the moment I read that sentence in the November issue of CosmoGirl I had a new mission for myself and for any *NSync fans who wanted to join me. Want those boys of *NSync to know you exist? Want them to know you're NOT just another one of the screaming girls in the crowd? Want them to know you care more about them than just their looks? This is our chance to show *NSync that the fans have REAL power and that we don't only care about their looks, or the way they dance, that we truly care about them and that we believe in the same things they believe in.
Our Mission? To raise 1 million dollars for the support of music programs in public schools. All proceeds will go to Justin's charity. We have joined forces with officials from "The Justin Timberlake Foundation" and are advertising for Leesa and her "NSync 4 JRT" team to spread the word about how *NSync fans worldwide can donate to Justin's charity and make his dreams come true.
AND if we get a response from the curly-blonde-haired boy himself, every single fan who donated WILL see a copy of it!
These are the ONLY ways you should be donating to support "The Justin Timberlake Foundation"! They are the ONLY ones who are APPROVED by the Foundation and/or Justin himself. Anyone other than these three who are collecting are doing so ILLEGALLY and they will be sued by the Foundation and/or *NSync's lawyers! DO NOT DONATE TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT APPROVED BY THE FOUNDATION AND/OR JUSTIN! This is for your own saftey and for the charity. If the foundation if found with illegal collectors, it could lose it's federal government status as a charity. This would hurt Justin and the schools he wants to help. Please only donate legally.
I went to the *NSync 'No Strings Attached' tour show in Milwaukee, WI on November 18, 2000. I was standing outside the doors handing out fliers with all this information to whomever wants to be a part of the $1 million for Justin's charity. I passed out 200 flyers at the show! Once the total donation has been made (and it's gonna be big!) if we recieve a response from Justin (how can he ignore a million dollars?), everyone who donated and signed their name will see a copy, because they helped.
I have to have people passing out flyers EVERYWHERE! Your friends, schools, neighborhoods, businesses, ect. But I admit, this is a BIG task, and I need help. If I had people across the country helping, we could bring in money by the thousands for Justin's charity and our *NSync goal would be reached a lot faster! So join the list and help us out! Just follow Justin's example:
Or... maybe not QUITE like that.. LOL The next thing you can do to help is to spread the info about what *OperatioN Sync* is trying to do. Write about it on your mailing lists or *NSync newsies, paste a link on your *NSync page to this one, talk it up in chat rooms, do whatever it takes so that the *NSync fan community knows we're serious!
