There is a difference between being an acquaintance and being a friend. First,
an acquaintance is someone whose name you know, who you see every now and
then, who you probably have something in common with and who you feel

suddenly, that other guy doesn't look all that good anymore
I can't say 'screw him' about the boy that I have come the closest to being
fully in love with. I still would do anything for him and it sucks because I
know he wouldn't do the same for me. That hurts more than anything, but I

Somehow, the conversation mentioned your name. And someone asked if I knew
you. Looking away I thought of all the times we had together; Sharing
laughter, tears, jokes and tons more. And then, without an explanation, you
were gone. I looked to where they were waiting for an answer, and then said
softly, "Once...I thought I did."
I've overanalyzed too much in my life. If someone leaves me, I put all my
time and effort into figuring out why they left. This time I'm not. I'm
letting him go with the grace of a woman… Don't get me wrong, it hurts like
hell, but I guess this was supposed to happen. God gave him to me for a
short time for a reason and as hard as it may be to move on, I can do it. I
