"ARE YOU READY!!" Korn a most versitale band if iI have saw one,,There first album was most killer, hardcore heavy that you could feel too your bones..but this CD ranks number one in my book of reviews for new and up coming funky grunge bands..when this CD was fist released I said , this ain't Korn,,compared to there first CD that is, but they must of saw somthing to change there hole band perspective and go with a more Primus sund in there music..
14 rippin tracks are on this CD, starting with a wierd but wicked tune by the name of Twist..Great tribel drums that will make your walls shake and crumble.. to explain the lryics would be hard as hell so I will leave that up to you to decide..Track number 2 is a rendishion of a phyco acid trip and this this song is called CHI, awesome bass riff's on the verge of a Primus type but much harder and more direct to your soul..My stereo smokes when ever I put that tune on,the vociles by Jonathon Davis are surpurb on the hole intire album,deep,aggreesive and phycosematic.In away he reminds me of the singer from Suicidal all his vocals are personal and from the deepest darkest part of his being..Fieldy on the brutal bass ripp's as well.
There frist album (self-titled)went gold witch is quite a feet for a first album of a new metal band..Like Rage Aagainst The Machine and 311 Korn is a part of the new hardrock scean,kind of a hip hop, funky punk rock with metal roots..The members of the band include, Jonathan Davis on the unvarnished vocals, Fieldy on the bass, Munky on the guitars, Head also guitar and vocals, and David on the drums,,thid CD is a must get for all you metalheads out there, you will surely enjoy it and probably go out to get the rest of there CD's..All tunes are writen and produced by Korn also the recording is of high quality, check it out...
