I think I am getting the hang of this already. I can see in my mind where the breaks and things should go.

Is this correct? Did this turn into a new paragraph? I have some ideas for a web page. Actually, I have a web page started on Angelfire.com, but I have only used their built-in shell to do all these things that HTML programming does. I'm glad that I am learning what the tags do so that I can modify at will.

Here are my home page ideas:
A page to show off the Fife and Drum Corps which I am a member of
A page to list my hobbies and links to places on the web to find out more about it
A page to share stories or possibly journaling
A page to share my family goings-on with family and friends

This should be another new paragraph. Hey, I am getting the hang of this! What a thrill to actually see it working! Some pages I've seen and liked: Well, I guess I'll have to go back through my hundreds of bookmarks. I can't think of any right off hand

THIS IS FUN AND EASY SO FAR!
Lesson 2:
Were you able to use or create a template file? If you were able to use or create the template, were you able to save it as HTML? Did you begin your HTML "virtual notebook" and perform the exercises at the end of Lesson 1?

Yes, I created a template file

Yes, I saved it as HTML.

Here is the notebook, the exercises are listed above.

Besides an unordered bulleted list and an ordered (number) list, another kind of list is a ?? list. The code for doing such a list is as follows:

    Step 1.

To see what I've accomplished so far, check out my personal page or my Janesville Fife and Drum page. Not too bad for just starting out if I do say so myself!
