My True Friend

This is again one I wrote for Phil. As you can tell, he's pretty important in my life.

My true friend, you have become
You've lent your shoulder many a time
No matter what I've said or done

We've told each other many things
The good and intreaguing that have come our way
Honesty has been the key no matter what it brings

Little has been left unsaid
Something rare for me
Printed words, mostly, of the highs and dreads

What the future holds, you and I do not know
We know that God is in control
His love will guide and show

We always will remain friends
No matter what will come our way
You're a friend that I will treasure until the very end
