Pardon Me

This (along with "Moment of Your Time", "You Still Love Me", and "I Reach to You O Lord") were written at Chicago Congress 2001. Some of them were written at about 4-5am....others, during the dance. They are a series of poems I feel all lead into one another...kinda the whole doubting, questioning, wondering, coming full circle to realization, acceptance, peace and love. =)

Why am I always lonely
In a two person conversation
I'm a third wheel

I try to be nice to people
Yet I am always alone
Why does it have to be this way?
Can someone please take some time?

I'm struggling with so much now
And I really need someone to talk to

I wonder if I will ever matter
No one really knows the feelings I'm dealing with

Even if they did, would they help?
Just a moment of your time
