Eight Strangers

This is dedicated to Captive Free West Lakes 1999-2000, and Captive Free Coast to Coast 2000-2001. Sarah, Beth, Jo, Jeromy, Shane, Kirsten, and Phil have become my friends over the past 2 years, and I am always thankful for their friendship. They truly "SHINE" for God.

Eight strangers met one cold night in November
For a night of worship and song
I think back and try to remember

Seeing you all many times later
Getting to talk and become friends
Your influence on my faith became greater

Times changed, and one friend moved on
Still a friend I treasure
Though not seen much, she's never gone

Six friends started out again last fall
No longer strangers to me
Been there for me still through it all

I always thank God for all of you
True examples of His love
May He give you continued stength to See It Through
