It was a Friday February 12 2010 and it was the grade 4 and 5’s snow tubing trip. Everyone was very excited. Some people was not going. Everyone who was going got hockey helmet. When everyone got there helmets we went in the bus. There was two bus that had one grade 4 and one grade 5. It took us 6 minutes to reach to mount chingcousy. When we reach there we went inside the place where we eat/warm up or buy food. Before we put are bag a girl told us everywhere not to go and the safety. She showed us the room where to put are bag.
When we finished putting are bag we line up and ready to go outside. When we reach outside we got are tubs and stand in line for the lift to go up. Mr.Ambury was giving everyone there ride of their life because of his so when you go down the hill his weight goes faster down when you at the end he twist you and you get really dizzy. When you at the end there will be carpet that slow you down because if you can’t stop you go so fast that you knock on something.
Some people brought food at the snack shack. Some people brought their own food. At school the people who came to school but did not go to the was with Ms.Dennis. They went outside with magic carpet. They had fun and it was for free the people who went to the snow tubing paid $25 and some played on the computer almost the whole day.
It was dangerous for people that were on the magic carpet because the did not have a helmet and it was in the forest. At Mount Chingcousy we were on the hill with a group of people going down the hill super-duper fast!!! Our group flipped all the carpets that was slowing us down. We all most went up on another hill! It was very scary because our group was twisting round and round. While in our school the kids who didn’t go on the trip was playing cards and colouring or drawing.
At Mount Chingcousy there was only 5 minutes to go. Everyone was packing there bags when we were finish we went in the same bus. Some people were sleeping and some was talking about the trip that we had. Everyone was thinking that we want to go again.
