After Death

Life to death and death to life

A powerful man in a need of trust

He has lost his life and he has gained his strife

A master of torture in a world of lust

The wind is his friend, its howl his companion

The thunder is his rival, the lightning his judge

He lives in the shadows and the rain falls upon

He cries in the night and feeds in a grudge

Drinking the blood and devouring the heart

Fangs in the neck and the blood so warm

Living from death is a wonderful art

Flying through the night and crossing thy arm

Cutting through flesh like a cold sharp knife

Over the pain and sorrow of light

Life to death and death to life

Becoming a vampire is a glorious sight.
