Skinner is dying and Mulder and Scully only have a few hours to save him. Scully takes a sample of his blood and finds out that a foreign substance in Skinner's blood is creating a dam in his veins and blocking the blood flow. Mulder traces it to Senator Matheson, a once ally, and Mulder learns that Skinner was tracking Senate Resloution 819 and that somehow got him poisoned... By no other than Krycek. But of course no one knows this. Skinner supposedly died, but is instantly brought back to life. Scully believes that Skinner has gone into remissions. But Skinner knows that it was Krycek, and now Krycek has complete control over him.
