12. One Son

The continuation of Two Fathers. The CDC stop Mulder before he fires at Cassandra, and are all taken into custody. There they are searched and the whole deal. Stupid Fowley address the two that Cassandra has been exposed to some weird disease making her insane. Scully doesn't buy and I think if she had the chance shoot Diana. Mulder knows that they won't hurt Cassandra, she is the perfect human/alien hyrbid.
Scully, the MD and the forensics scientist believes that Diana can't be trusted. She's a medical doctor for gosh sakes! She's probably really smart! She explains her mistrust in Diana Fowley after she got some info from the Lone Gunmen but Mulder dismisses the thought. Scully storms off while Mulder goes to Diana's apartment for evidence against Diana.
The CSM or CGB whatever you want to call him is at Diana's apartment,and CSM tells Mulder that ever member of the Syndicate had to give up a loved ones so that the aliens would believe in the humans and by doing so, giving the humans the baby alien fetus to continue on with human hybird cloning and such. But Muder's dad Bill Mulder made the plan to secretly create a vaccine to the black oil in secret with the baby alien fetus.
Spender gets info from Kryceck that its all going down, the Syndicate was giving Cassandra to the colonist to finally start the long awaited colonization. Diana returns to her apartment and she and Mulder head down to the air base, the place where the aliens would take Cassandra, the place where they had given up their loved ones.
Mulder calls Scully and she soon arrives, and tells him of the news, that Cassandra was the key to colonization and it was happening that night. They find the train that Cassandra is on and try to stop it by firing at it and even making a road block with their car. But the train crushes the car and continues on. It was too late.
At the hanger base where the aliens were going to take Cassandra, Diana arrives with the Smoking Man. But to everyone's surprise, it wasn't the aliens, it was the rebels forces. Diana and Smoking Man escape, but the rest of Syndicate is set ablaze.
Spender then admits to being at fault for the death at the hanger base and says that Mulder and Scully should take over the X-Files. As Spender walks out of the basement office, he sees his father... The smoking man... CGB, CSM, smoking man, whatever! Shoots Spender with one well aimed shot.... The end???
