Mulder and Scully first X-File back since the events of One Son. Mulder and Scully have to go undercover as a married couple at a planned a community due to disappearances around the community. The neighbors help the new "married" couple out as Mulder and Scully investigate.
The agents mingle and make some of the most hilarous moments on the show. The residents of Arcadia are all really perky and follow all, I mean all the rules. But then we learn why, the person in charge of the community Gene Gogolak has found a way to create a Tulpa, made from Gene's own imagination. The tulpa will destory anyone who doesn't follow the rules. The Tulpa then attacks Mulder but it is luckily destoryed when Gene is killed by his own imagination.
