A young girl named Ruby is abducted and her brother Kevin has been acting weird ever since. Mulder personal feelings are involved with case as he remembers Samantha. Kevin inhibits odd behavior writing down 0's and 1's over and over again. But later Kevin is taken into custody as the 0's and 1's are binary transmissions of a defense satellite. Scully then finds this binary code of the Kevins to be in a giant form of Ruby. Ruby then returns, but oddly enough, the mother , Kevin and Ruby disappear.
