Crazy Chinese Were-Dog! After a murder of a man transporting a strange animal is killed, Mulder and Scully are put on the case. Mulder believes that his friend can help named Berquist. Scully notices a picture of I want to Believe at Berquist house and she seems oddly enough paranoid just like Mulder.
The animal on the shippment from China is a legendary creature named Washange Dhole. Mulder believes that the creature is extremely brilliant, and maybe even the power to turn into a human. After some bizzare and brutal deaths they find out that it is Dr. Detweiler who was originally the one who wanted to ship the dog from China is the dog thing itself.
Berquist knows about this already and she tells Mulder and Scully to stay at the hospital after a man surives an attack from Detweiler. But she lied, and she knew that Detweiler was coming for her. She and him fight and in the process killing the two. Mulder though does get in the mail, I Want To Believe poster from Berquist which he lost in the fire of the episode The End from Season 5.
