The Sherbrooke Bride Series

By: Catherine Coulter

This collection of tales is set in Neopolonic contemporary times in the Southern region of England. Sure, you have your series favorite characters, the responsible eldest brother, the reckless second brother, the devout youngest brother, and a firey sister just for sugar and spice. Still the wit and charm by which this series in woven, we think, is extraordinary. Definately a "can't put it down" rating. (I should know. I couldn't put the 2nd one down last night myself and now I'm paying for it. "grins")

The Sherbrooke Bride - Douglas Sherbrooke, Earl of Northcliffe needs an heir. He decides upon a extraordinarily beautiful old girlfriend of his, but through circumstances beyond his control (yeah, right) he ends up with her little sister. The Hellion Bride - Rider Sherbrooke is the family rake, known for his prowess with the women. When he goes to investigate strange happenings on his family's plantation in Jamaica however, he is introduced to Sophie Stanton-Greville, known to be the local woman of ill repute....or is she?

The Heiress Bride - Singin was the quick-witted, charming "brat" little sister of the Sherbrooke family, spoiled and adored by her big brothers. But now Singin has grown into her own. She spots a Scotsman during her second season in London..and the chase is on folks.
The Scottish Bride - This actually picks up the story of the youngest male Sherbrooke, Tysen. He is a devout vicer and father of three who finds himself thrust into a barony that doesn't want him and meets the town embaressment, Mary Rose. Its a lovely testament to the fact that yes...even a servant of God can have a passionate love affair.

If you liked the Sherbrookes in this collection; you'll also find them showing up as minor roles/cameos in:
Mad Jack
The Courtship
Pendragon
