There's a moment in Leon, when the eponymous character gets a rifle from Tony. This leaves Tony a little confused, as of course, Leon is the best of the best in terms of contract killers. The rifle is what newcomers to the job use. Leon explains that he wants to get back to basics; to practice from the very start.
Of course, that's not the reason why he gets the rifle, but that's a whole different story. The principle of these painmashed pengys is the same though - an exercise in the basics of drawing and colouring in, rather than fiddling with the complexities of layers and the such like.
There may or may not be a story to follow.
And 'guins - why? Well - they are cuties aren't they?
