Shale was the father of Skywise, lifemate to Eyes-High he was killed by humans when some young humans attacked Eyes-Highs nest trying to follow in their legend Demon Tricker's footsteps. They managed to hit Shale with stones causeing him to plummet to the ground which broke his back, he was later stabbed by a human spear which ended his life.
