Ekuar is a vey old elf, one of the first born i think. Ekuar is a rockshaper who was captured, along with his two friends Mekda and Osek, by the frozen mountain trolls when they were young and had decided to sneak in the Palace which was controled by the trolls. Under King Guttlecraws reign the three elves suffered very much forced to create tunnels and find precious metals for the trolls. During his time as their captive ekuar lost his left arm, half his left leg and one of his fingers on his right hand the loss of limbs was dolled out as punishment when the elves wouldn't do as they were told. Ekuar was freed from the trolls by Rayek who found him in the trolls caverns after he left Sorrows end, Ekuar taught Rayek how to better control and use his powers and they became good friends
