TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE OUR PICNIC

Aunts and Uncles love picnics, especially Ants!

'Twas The Night Before Our Picnic, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not an ant or a mouse;
The suntan tubes were on the table over there,
In hopes we would not forget them you here;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of ham sandwiches danced in their heads;
Then I dreamed of a Giant Ant named Frank,
He said that he had come to make our outting great,

Frank tasted the food we had made,
If it tasted bad, he would say,
Then he looked at the plans we had made,
And gave a thumbs up or down, with nothing to say,

He said "Now Dasher! now Dancer! now Prancer and Vixen!",
"On, Comet! on Cupid, on Donder and Blitzen",
Anyway, Frank made a list of things we should do,
To improve our picnic, he said, he would make it anew,

Frank wished us a good night and off he went,
To improve the picnics of other gents,
As he left he yelled this all his might,
"HAPPY PICNIC TO ALL, AND TO ALL GOOD-NIGHT!"
