C o w   I n  A  B a n k

A cow walked into a bank. No this is not a joke, but really happened. In a rural town (Wunstorf) in northern Germany, a wedding party was occuring and a cow named Paula was to be part of it. (Ok. Cows and weddings.) Some web sites say that it is a tradition, but others say that it was to be a joke at the wedding party. Whichever, this honored guest wandered through a nearby bank before it got to the party. I guess the cow was thinking about stocks and bonds. This visitor just looked around the bank and wandered out. The wayward bovine was finally caught in a parking lot. These newlyweds certainly will have a story to tell their future kids. This happened on February 9th of 2004 and underscores that 'Truth is stranger than fiction'.
