I used to keep a blog regularly. But then again I used to do stuff regularly. Harken back to the days of yore with my ancient blog:

Pita's Blog

Wow. I skipped two whole monthes! That's terrible. It's not like I couldn't have updated at Sarah's. I was just too lazy...

Well. Usually I do a long and involved entry about stuff, but this was just way too fricken' long. I met people and did stuff. How's that? Just kidding. I'll do better. But I'll do it here. I'd recomend reading that before you get to the rest of this entry.

I went down to the school with Neal to get my report card and to see about him enrolling. We also went down to The Elecric Lettuce to see how much finishing his tattoo will cost. The guy estimated $100. That's a lot but it would cost more to go back to P.A. and get it finished by Bear, even though the work would be free. Travel is expensive!

After our adventures in tatooing we went home and collected the gift certificats for Earls. I've never been to Earls before, but it's pretty swank. Neal and I are dead poor. So we walk in with these gift certificates and a smile, no money at all. This so called "free lunch" type of deal? Not really. It's all fixed so that you have to buy an entree and it has to be under $10 and it really doesn't mean room for drinks. Oh well. We had pizza that was very well done in the traditional Italian style. Too bad I like western pizza better...Oh well. How can I complain when it was, for the most part, free?

Camping at Long Beach tomorrow, yo! And in other tacked on, random news, my msn is fixed, so w00t! June 6
Wow, is it ever hot! We are having such a heatwave. Its 30 degrees every day.

Heat and such is what I blame for me skipping B block yesterday to go swimming. I found Jon in the halls and we went down to the dam. He wasn't going to swim, but after a little coaxing I convinced him. I'm good at that. Then we sloshed back to school for A block.

When I got home Anuschka called and I convinced her (see? there I go again) to go for a walk around Westwood Lake. Then we went swimming in our clothes again. Those shorts saw a lot of action yesterday.

In other news I think I might be failing EVERY class! Oh well. I'll be caught up in Art by Monday and Biology on Mon/Tues and Psych will pull up by the time this project is finished. Math is quit so yay. I've sorta given up on this year. It was SO shitty. I'm saving all my effort and caring for next year.

Well the other day was not so hot of a day. I had an allergic reaction to a bug bite and had to go to the hospital. My leg got swollen and purple and it hurt all down the one leg, into my hips and down the other. The thing is, by the time they get around to seeing you at the hospital all of my symptoms were practically gone exept for a gross-ish purple rash thing. I looked like a baby in there for that. And to make matters worse some drunken Native down the hall from me kept moaning. And moaning, and moaning, and moaning. He kept it up for an hour. He was still going at 1:00am when I left. After seeing the doctor for about all of 1 and a half minutes. But I'm not bitter.

Yesterday was better. I got hypnotised. Again! Only I wasn't under for very long. A guy came to our school to do this drunk-driving awareness deal-y. He hypnotises people and makes them think they are in a car accident. First he does the same old "You're a ballerina" thing though. So he gets everyone who wants to volunteer go up, and he hypnotises them all. Then he trims it down, and trims it down to about 14 people. I was a trim. I don't think I made a very good hypnotic impression. You see he did that "Play an instrument" bit, but then the background music switched to very loud heavy metal and the audience was screaming and I lost his voice and got confused. Hypnotism is not the way the movies make it seem. Its not a "deep sleep" and you don't see things, and you know its not real, but it makes you want to do it anyway. It takes away embarassment. But if you lose it for any reason, it can be disorienting and weird. So anyway, I was cut. And because when you're hypnotised nothing seems to matter, I let my leg fall asleep. So I couldn't move or feel it. A very weird sensation, by the way. Due to this leg which was more hypnotised than me, I fell down as soon as I tried to stand. Walking was a disaster. It was rather emarassing. But the show was very good.

Yesterday was a good day. We got to disect a rat. The only thing that botherd me was that I was not disgusted or horrified by the whole thing. I thought perhaps a normal person would be. I know most of the rest of the class was. Of course Heather, Brittany, and the steely nerved girl who I usually get paired with, Jemimah weren't either. You should have seen the determination with which Jemimah set about trying to get at the damn rats brian. Actually, no you shouldn't of. Its head was nothing but a grim, twisted wreck of flesh and bone when she was done. But we got bonus marks for it!

In fact, not only was I not bothered, but I treated the whole affair with a certain irreverance that was probably not called for. Like making it dance. Well, I should say I was bothered once. It had a rather large lump in its intestine, so we gave it a little cut and shit veritably exploded from it. That made me gag. I was expecting shit, obviously, but not such a putrid, liquid explosion.

To change the subject, I have no idea what happened today. My mom slept in, woke me up at 8:00, then ran out the door to go to work. Without my usual second prod to wake me up a little later, I simply rolled over and didn't get back up untill 12:00. School gets out on 1:20 or something on Friday's so I figured screw it. I feel kind of bad for Britt, and I hope we didn't need that Poster stuff in Bio, but I can e-mail her the information and we can glue it all on Monday, when it's due. Sorry!
