The chill of the sunless day gives me goosebumps
Maybe I shouldn't sit by the door
The greyness and gloom of the day suppresses my spirit
Despite the caffeine coursing through my body
I stay down
Suppressed by the depressing world before me
I kill time
Watching people walk, converse, live
Sitting on the sidelines as always
Watching their busy lives drive them on
As I sit, suppressed
Waiting
