.:Me:.

My name is Elaine. My nicknames are Internet Tomatoe (don't ask), nutshell, Young and Hopeless Riot Girl, Riot Tomatoe, DJ, Musical Mushroom, Feminist and Fat Mike. The only one that really stuck was Tomatoe. I am an atheist. Some people have called me emo, punk and/or goth. I don't think I am any of those. I'm just me. If I had to choose I guess I'm more emo-ish.
I have black hair and dark brown eyes. According to Ted I have really pale skin that contrasts with my hair. And I am Asian. I'm average height.
I love music. Music is my life. I used to play piano but I quit cuz I sucked and I never practiced. I played violin for a week. I have a guitar but can't really play it. I'm not a very committed person when it comes to playing musical instruments. My favorite type of music is alternative (rock) but I listen to some other music too. I'm not a huge fan of rap though.
Favorites
My favorite food..anything that tastes good I guess. I like pasta and pizza. I would like to be a vegetarian..sometime in the future. My favorite colors are silver, blue, black and red. My favorite drink is lemonade I think. Don't particularly like soda. Vanilla soy milk is good too. I don't watch TV that much but I like The Simpsons, That 70's show, and Smallville.
Music
Since music is my life, here's a special section about it. I wasn't really obsessed with music until 2001, when Michelle Branch became my first obsession. And then I became obsessed with Avril Lavigne in the summer of 2002. Around Thanksgiving 2002, one of my friends gave me the Good Charlotte CD (the Young and the Hopeless). GC was the first alternative band I was obsessed with. After GC, I got into alternative music. I'm too lazy to elaborate on all of them so here are my musical obsessions, in chronological order, from GC on: The Starting Line , Evanescence, Finch, The All-American Rejects, Something Corporate, Taking Back Sunday, and The Early November,Senses Fail, and Brand New. They are all great musicians and I recommend all of them. Click on the name of the band/singer to go to their website. Choosing just one favorite band is too hard. But right now it's probably either the Early November or Brand New. I love Drive-Thru Records in general..all the bands on it. Drive-Thru is my favorite records label. So..yeah.

Here are some other bands I really like but not enough for them to be an obsession (yet): A Static Lullaby, Rufio, JamisonParker, Fall Out Boy, Cursive, Spitalfield, and more. Too lazy to include all of their links. I think that's it.

I have WAY too many favorite songs to list them all. But some of my favorite songs at the moment are: "Chicago is So Two Years Ago" by Fall Out Boy, "I Loved the way she said LA" by Spitalfield, "A Gentelman Caller" by Cursive, "The Sound" by Further Seems Forver, "20 Below" by Hidden in Plain View, all the songs off of The Early November's latest album the Room's Too Cold. I highly recommend it.
