That's Sarah on the left and Chris on the right.
Chris: No longer employed by Stenner Glen, he used to do all the jobs
(not at the same time) like me. He was there my second and third years. Actually,
he was fired by Gary, Pam's son, in my third year, but it was an unjustified
termination so they let him back on. After his second year, he moved to Oregon and
I haven't seen him since. He never was a particularly good worker, but at least he
was (usually) sober when he showed up.
He was the one who threw most of the parties I've been to so far. He had his own place
and enough extra cash for booze so he threw a lot, most of which I never went to.
It is thanks to him, though, that I got some freebies from people I drove either to
the party, from the party, or to the store to restock during the party. Decent money
and gifts, but not enough to quit my dayjob. Overall he's a little too self-
indulgent for my tastes.
Sarah: As I write this, I question whether or not she ever actually worked in
the cafeteria, and I realize that no, she didn't. She was just ALWAYS there. She and
Chris are together (as the picture may have suggested), so whenever he was there
she'd usually hang around. Then she started hanging out even when he wasn't there,
especially once Annie got there. Even now that Chris is
in Oregon, Annie's gone and
Mason isn't there on weekdays, she still hangs around while I'm checker. She
plans on being a Playboy bunny for Halloween and asked me to be her Hugh Hefner.
She's always at the cafeteria and I don't really ever see her with anyone else
except one girl from her suite (she still lives at Stenner). Therefore it didn't
even occur to me as I made up the list of people from the cafeteria that she wasn't
really an employee -- I just naturally associate her with the cafeteria.
She was, naturally, at all of Chris' parties I went to. Not much of a drinker either,
she provided some sort of conversation while everyone around me was getting stupid.
She has a strong mind and thinks fast in a social sense, though she isn't really
an outstanding student in any way. But it's more fun to play mind games with her
because she doesn't fall victim to them quite as readily as everyone else around
me does, so it makes me have to try a little bit harder when she's there. But she
still falls for them, and she's not quite quick enough to play games with my head.
But then again, who is?
